I am a story teller. According to family and friends, I find the connection between moments, where every story is linked to something else. Photography allows me to tell your story. Each family, wedding, couple, child, and even the pets that I meet, have their own story and unique personality, and as a result, no two photo shoots are the same. I work closely with my clients to understand the story they are telling and take great pride in capturing the unexpected magical moments.

What’s my story?

I began my career in corporate production and events. I had worked at SONY in this field for ten years and when they relocated their headquarters to San Diego, my husband and I decided to stay on the east coast and raise our family here. I’d be lying if I didn’t admit that some of these NY winters make me question our decision however, being close to family and enjoying the other three seasons makes shoveling snow worth it (almost).

Once my tenure at SONY ended, I did some freelance work and loved the feeling and experience of managing my own work and schedule. I loved production/events but I was always passionate about photography and  thought I could start my own business.   Thanks to a great support system of friends and family, I started small and slowly grew my photography business while investing in courses on lighting, Photoshop, and the more advanced technical aspects of photography. Every time I got behind the camera I felt so connected to my subject and the camera that I knew this is what I was meant to do. My heart loves to learn about others’ stories and I consider it an honor to be entrusted with the responsibility to capture those stories in a way that allows them to be shared forever.

The combination of my creative vision and my corporate work experience has helped me build my successful photography business. That’s my story…..
